First Church is proud to be blessed with one of Gods greatest treasures....silver! Not silver metal, but crowns of silver hair adorned by many of our Senior members. Seniors, many still eager to grow in the Lord, vitally contribute their experience, wisdom, and faith and make a tremendous impact in our church.

Concerned about making disciples of Jesus Christ of all people, we realize that spiritual growth does not diminish with age and that Seniors continue to be growing individuals with a wide range of interests and abilities that should not be lost or under used. In this aspect, our Seniors are encouraged to serve as teachers and mentors, and to offer their aid and encouragement as they help guide the entire church with their wisdom and life experiences.
